question regarding moonroof option

Is the moonroof installed at the factory or dealership? Just wondering in case I forget to mention when purchasing the WRX.

u probably shouldnt get it cause it weakens the chassis

factory - plus it lowers the ceiling height by about an inch. keep that in mind if you are a tall person.

dealers can have them installed. a good dealer will have subaru parts installed and will have them warrentied. if you don't play in the nba and don't plan to club race the car the chassis will be plenty strong. you could also add a strut brace. all that said i would try to hold out for afactory moon. if the factory installed thr moon on a wrx it will also have a rear wing and the high mounted brakelight pod will be missing from inside the back window.
