I love my kartboy shifter and greddy counterweighted ****. I've never had any figment issues and it's been rock solid for years. You're welcome to feel it if you want.

Okay. Are there any ***** that are the same shape? I like the shape of the stock one, how its not just straight circle. Maybe I'll get a cobb one.

As far as adjustments go, it is a give and take relationship. If you make it as short as it can be on both ends you will have an unbelievably short shifter but a really long throw. I have heard of some people adjusting it to the point where the **** will hit the e-brake handle when they shift into 2nd.
When you adjust the throw to be shorter the **** will get higher but the distance between gears will literally be 2 inches.
The amount of adjustment is incredible. You can adjust it to be exactly like stock, exactly like the Kartboy, and then to exactly how you want it to be.
Really the only downfall (for me at least) is that after having it for a while and driving with it everyday, I have gotten used to it and I want it stiffer and shorter
. I can probably make it a lot better with a heavier **** but I am too fond of my acrylic one even though it has no weight behind it at all.
If you guys ever see me at any of the meets or what not you can check it out.

The throw is really stiff. Originally I was going to get bushings right away but after I installed it and felt how stiff it was I didn't think that bushings were really necessary.

And OP it's your preference on how you want your shifts set up. Some like the throws long because its easier to go into and out of gears and some want it stiffer and require more force to reach your gears (more sporty feel and kind of macho) And the bushings replace stock flimsier bushings to take away the slop you feel when you move your shifter especially in nuetral. If you replace your bushings i'd do both front and rear. Unless you have an STi short throw, then it won't really make a difference. Trust me, I tried.

There is no way you can get a cobb shifter unless you pay them bill gates type money or get a previous model one and make it work. MODE is the exact same shifter. (so i'm told). Should I get the shifter first or the bushings?
