Cobb! Er.. Mode!

And Kartboy is pretty much the only company that makes ALL the shifter bushings.

The mode one look a little different from the cobb one. Everything is shorter. The kartboy isnt double adjustable but does it feel better? and I should get the kartboy bushings no matter what shifter I get?

I just picked up the Perrin short shift adapter from a member on here for $20. It's got a pretty good range of adjustment and the install only takes like 10 minutes. A friend of mine picked one up from Perrin with the bushings discounted for $70. IMO it's the best bang for your buck

Kartboy setup if okay I guess, I would actually go with a OEM short throw after driving a car with it.

Get the Turn In Concepts "Holy Shift Kit". It includes all of the bushings, feels great.

I like the Cobb/Mode just because it's adjustable.
If you want the **** higher, you just find a piece alloy/steel rod and cut it as long as you want and thread it.

I had the Kartboy short shifter and I didn't like it at all. Ended up going with some TiC bushings kit and the oem STi short throw shifter. I'm much more pleased with it. Try and test some out beforehand if you can.

Which one?

Here's a picture of the Cobb in my car. It's set at shortest throw and shortest height.

And just FYI, the Cobb and Mode shifters are both exactly the same.
