New ECM/ECU installed, starting problem.

Ordered and installed a new ECM and tried starting the car, no luck.

Is there a trick to sync'ing the new ECM to the car, key, or something else? Subaru Select Monitor?

I tried Googling and could not find a solid.

Update this a little....

The starter will operate but not turn over.

 

Your car has an immobilizer. A dealer has to synchronize the key with the new ECU, or possibly you may need new keys.
