Help w/short shifter

I just bought kartboy shifter with front and rear bushings and was wondering if anybody has done the same on the 08? Wanted to see if anyone could possible give a hand or have any tips to get the panel off.

Ill be at the meet tomorrow

I have that set up on mine.

The shifter its self is very easy, the bushings are a real PITA. What panel are you talking about? the heat sheild under the car? Be carefull with that, its pretty sharp.

Your going to need to have your car a good amount off the ground to do the bushings, so you can get all the way under it.

not panel sorry, i ment the center console. i never done the bushings b4 however i have installed a shifter and obviously not on a subaru lol

The console is really easy to take apart. Most of the out side pieceses are just clips that pop out.

I think your pretty close to me, if you need help let me know and we can meet up and ill show you.

ill give it a shot tomorrow , the most conserning thing will be the console, dont wanna break any of the clips haha. im gonna do it at work so lift is no problem

ok, got the shifter in, console wasnt that bad as i thought it was gonna be, only took about 30 min. however i left the bushings for another day. the only thing i couldnt find was the one with the two bolts and a hole through the center. it came with the 2 quarter bushings.
