So.. I was driving and at around 4k rpms I can hear this vibration coming from passenger side. I took everything out of my car thinking it was something inside but it still does it. I tried reving up to 4k in neutral and it doesn't do it. Only when its in gear. Anybody have theories? Anything helps. Thanks!

 

maybe exhaust? might have a ding in it? Idk. Only when I'm in gear is what puzzles me.

It's pretty noticeable and it wasn't there before. I'm unsure of what it could be but if I can't figure it out by my next oil change then I'll just ask the dealership if they could check it.

 

I'm sure you're just fine. My Subaru makes a weird noise here and there and yours will probably go away.

 

My money is on an out of place bushing causing your exhaust to hit the heatshield underneath. I had this issue with my invidia until I got new bushings. But I think you are still on stock exhaust, eh?

Oh. Yeah there are no lights on, it's just an annoying vibration right around 4k rpm. It's starting to **** me off.

I'm going to check my exhaust and panels tomorrow. And anything else that could be lose. Thanks guys.

 

it could be the cold weather. All the panels and stuff shrink a little and start to rattle. When it warms up everything will expand and be snug again.
