Does anybody else things its weak?

And its not just better springs and a larger turbo... is a better suspension set up with springs and struts and better tires. And its just a better base to build up from. For me ill have to swap a turbo and fuel injectors and all that good stuff that goes with wanting to make a monster and the 09 is just a better starting point but oh well =)

the new 2009 wrx is going to be 265HP, and 225/45/17 wheels, with stiffer front and rear springs. front and rear sway bar increased by 1MM.
there will be a GT verision, but the GT verision only comes in AUTO. EVERY WRX is 265. GT or non-GT. GT is more like what we called limited for the 05+.
limited WRX comes in auto, and leather, just like the new 09 GT will be auto and leather.
