Question- Leaky gaskets & spark plug covers.

Got my fathers forester after he purchased a new car and took it for inspection. FOund out the rear rotors need to be replaced and the dealer wanted $440 for the rotors and pads. That I can do myself so I will.
My real question is this- They told me the gaskets and spark plug covers were leakign oil. They suggested havign the repair done and want $315 for it. It is not an inspeciton issue but a concearn.
What should I do? Is this somehting I could do myself? If not does $315 sound liek a reasonable price?
