what size K&N filter will fit in a 98 L 2.2?

what size K&N filter will fit in a 98 L 2.2?
basicaly what the title says....does K&N make a filter that fits a 98L 2.2 litre or do they only make them for a 2.5 RS?
VIP says they dont make one but they also say a 2.5 rs mirror wont fit an L and thats bull crap...

I just put a K&N in my '99 2.2L OBS (same engine as the '98 impreza). It is a K&N 33-2154.

and of course....VIP has the exact filter, but noooooooooooo its not for an L.....
