Turbo migration plan

I've had my ru for about two years now, and I think I am ready to start the mods. It's a MY01 GM6 with a EJ25. What are the schools of thought towards beefing it up? Brakes first? Exhaust? The line I am thinking of would be:
exhaust, brakes, turbo
I know there is a lot more to add on in between, but I am new to this, and need to be educated....Thanks!

Add a new rear swaybar. I prefer 18mm, most prefer 20mm or an adj. unit. Throw on some heavy duty endlinks too. Short throw shifter w/ bushing if you have a 5spd. Then I'd go with WRX rotors up front, new pads, SS lines, and better brake fluid.
When are you going turbo? Generally speaking a turbo car and an N/A need different piping size.

that's another quesiton I had.....I want to change the exhaust, I went to a dealer witha performance shop to get an idea of what has to be done, and we talked about reaer sway bars, and catbacks, and flywheels...I think I know what I want to do, but the real question is:
if I make all these changes to my car, borla headers, stromung catback, new intake, and the like, when I put a turbo on my car, will I need all new pipes? is that what you are saying? if that is the case then I need to rethink my plan. Thanks

www.uniquemotorsports.com Chad sells up/down pipes that use the stock header (or any other header that uses the stock exhaust), and then all you need is a new cat pipe made that goes from the downpipe to the midpipe. He includes a flange, even, so all you have to do is install all the turbo stuff, get the car running, and then just drive it down to an exhaust shop to get the new pipe made. Very easy this way, and nice quality stuff, too. I have the up and down pipe, just not on the car yet (gonna wait till the warrenty is up).

You can really only use your headers for an RS-T. Exhaust past that is going to have to be replaced, as well as any intake you may be running. The good news is, quality exhausts for an EJ25 will be worth more than half what you pay for them new, so if it is going to be a while before you can afford the turbo, it's worth it to have the mods now.
