if you cant specify crank timing or spark timing you shouldnt be messing with it

^^^thats why i am asking...so i can learn...i probably wont be messing with it. its just nice to know the specs of my car...and when i feel like i know enough ill start messing with it...there is always a starting point...any help?

I tought it was all controlled by the ECU based off of driving patterns?
