From a engine dyno test done by Shiv back in 1999 yeild what i believe to be about 8hp... so, like... 6 Wheel HP...

It doesn't sound like much, but trust me... it is!

I currently have that dual tip exhaust, and I previously had the single tip. To be honest, I almost like the single tip better on our car.

I was originally gonna get the single tip but I thought the dual looked better. I saw the dual tip on some guy's impreza at a car wash and it made me decide to get it.

By the way...my boyfriend thinks my stromung sounds ricey. When I get new headers, will it sound better?

Does it sound deep?

and does it sound raspy at idle and when you lift off the throttle?

if so, it's sounds correct. Borlas will make it really, really deep!

The Borla's will bring out the boxer sound and have some rasp off throttle. I have Borlas and Stromung SS all the way back...brrrr...pow,....brrrr....pow.

Dang...I want those headers but I have no left over money right now. I heard that Renick was selling them for $216 and that seems like a really good price but I have to wait. By the time I have money for them I doubt Renick will have them for that cheap anymore. Maybe I could find some used for cheaper. Dunno.

For those of you who have the Stromung catback...have you had cops pull you over for having a loud exhaust? And does anyone know the decibel reading of it?

ive gone thru 2, both lasted about 18 months before i had to swap back to the oem muffler. both rusted out the back of the can right between the tips.. gonna have to go ss this time around.

never been pulled over for noise, never had a cop say anything once im pulled over either.. other than "thats quite a collection of tickets sir. it took the dispatcher 5 minutes to read you record off."
