FS: Stromung SS Muffler and 2.5" Midpipe
Stainless Steel Stromung Dual tip muffler in excellent condition, and cleaned nice and shiny for sale. I've been nothing but satisfied with the quality in craftsmenship, and the sound of this amazing muffler...sadly, it no longer satisfies my need for exhaust flow. (I've upgraded to a full 3" system)
I also have a 2.5" Jet-Hot coated midpipe in good condition. A minor scrape from a speed bump about 2" long and a 1/4" wide on the bottom but the coating is thick and still remains, as well as the pipe being round and true throughout.
Muffler: SOLD!
Midpipe: $125 + S&H (used gaskets available upon request)

whats the change like?
What are your thoughts on the upgrade? What did you upgrade to?
I was considering getting a Stromung unit, but I still haven't decided the end goal of my project WRX.
How did you like the Stromung exhuast?
thanks for your time.

I've heard it best described as "A quiet scooby sport". Nothing makes the boxer sound better than a scooby sport, and this does it while having the twin tips (sleeper style) instead of the huge tip. Its a great sound, no droning, the sound demands respect.
I upgraded (Due to a generous donation by a fellow enthusiast) to a Blitz nur spec rear section. Like a straight pipe with a 4" tip
I'll be purchasing a magnaflow and have a muffler shop fabricate it in a few weeks to replace the blitz as its too loud and obnoxious for me. I did run the Stromung with my turbo kit for about 5 months. It worked well, but I wanted less backpressure because I was running gobs o boost. Now I have a full 3" system.
I can say this...I wish I had the money to buy a 3" dual tip stromung
Enjoy

If this is indeed the Stromung midpipe, it will mate to stock components on both ends. It replaces the factory resonator. It does NOT replace the 3rd cat...that requires Stromung's "3rd cat eliminator" pipe.
