STi short block?
i've been seeing that word thrown around a lot and i noticed rallitek is selling a cosworth but i'm a tad confused...
what exactly is a short block (to me it seems like the whole engine without the heads) and if one was to get an STi short block...what type of parts would be needed...could you reuse the heads from the 2.5i or would you have to still buy STi heads?
it just seems strange they sells engines that aren't complete lol

you will need the sti heads, since they are DOHC (the 2.5i is SOHC)
and you are correct, a short block is just the bottom end, no water pump/heads/etc [a long block would include the heads and other items]
