Car Info: 2000 2.5 RS USDM STI block, SOHC heads GT25 Ball bearing turbo, TMIC, TXS BOV, Tial wastgate, etc...

STI block with 2.5RS SOHC heads???

I was told by isr performsance that a 2004 USDM STI block would mate perfectly with 2000 RS heads, flywheel, and oil pan ETC..... Is this true?? If anyone has any reliable infor on this subject i would appreciate any posts!!! Thanks

I had a 99 RS (SOHC) and now have an STI -- wouldn't be surprised if they did. I know where the old head gaskets are (replaced them when the drivers side head blew a small coolant leak underneath). If someone had an STI head gasket to compare it with, I'd send it. Haven't head of any blown STI heads though yet.

As I understand it they will work. I will have an STi shortblock on standby next month when I put the VF30 on my EJ25, and I plan to use my Phase II heads with it.
