Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Squeaky sound from driver's side wheel??

Check your CV boots. If they are torn or cracked, and dirt gets in there, it will cause the bearings inside to go bad. I assume this is the front?

I would say CV boots or bearings...I had a similar problem a while back. I checked absolutely everything, before finally breaking down and taking it in to a mechanic. It was actually a disk in the brake caliper that had warped, which he said was common in subies around my year, because they made the part out of ceramic instead of urethane (or the other way around). Bottom line, if you can't find anything else check this last.
