Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Spring options for a 07 2.5i?

I was looking around an yes i did search before someone says it and I have seen that people are using several different brands, personally i have always used tien and will continue to as I have had nothign but good use out of them. However what im stuck upon is which springs I do buy? I have pretty much come to the conclusion that I would purchase the 06 sti spring as opposed to the 06 wrx because of the length am I right in this assumption? Of course they hate on us N/A drivers and dont include a part listing for the 2.5's.

Any help or input would be greatly appriciated.

You fail to mention if you have a wagon or sedan (different tracks and spring rates between the two).

Everyone here agrees on this pretty much. Choose one set of springs from below and you will be happy.

Swift
Pinks
Prodrive

Swift & Pinks are the only wagon or sedan specific springs ~ Prodrives from the photos I have seen on wagons do not have a 'saggy butt' and they are great on a sedan.

Swift and Prodrive the drop is about the same 1.25 - 1.5". The Pinks 3/4"

Hope this helps?

Tha helps greatly NW
I do have a sedan I was just wondering what year and model spring I would be after example : 03+ wrx, 03+ Sti, 05+ wrx ect ect.
I would be more inclined to have a stronger spring rate then to have a lower drop as looks<performance for me anyday.

I would never in a million years subject my car to slip on coilovers, only full systems. Those slip overs are complete garbage.
