Car Info: 01 Impreza 2.5 RS

Rough Idle 2.5 RS 2001

The last couple of days my car has been starting to idle rougher and rougher. It seems to hesitate or want to stall while driving at lower speeds. The car has about 71500 miles and still has the stock spark plug wires. I've replaced the stock plugs with Bosch platinum, but that was a while ago. I have an after market intake, apex exhaust, borla headers, and a high flow cat. My CEL has been on for about two years and I've install the resister but the light came right back on.
My thoughts are:
new plugs and wires
possible bad ground (connection coming lose somewhere)
bad fuel or filter

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I had a 2000 Legacy Outback (2.5 as well) that developed the same problem. New wires and plugs, though needed, didn't help much. Run a new ground to the coil pack. It should help.
