i have a 2003 2.5rs and i wanted to get a wrx hood for it with the hoodscoop... my question is is there any way to make the hoodscoop functional with the 2.5rs? like an open topmount ramair intake so when the air gets sucked in from the scoop it goes directly into the airbox? (basically something similar to the top mount intercooler design for the wrx)

just curious if anyone else has thought of this or if theres anyway to do this.

well i gave a quick search and couldnt find anything so i was hoping someone could post a link with pictures or where to buy/make one from

 

or even easier... if i get a hood with a scoop.. is there any way to keep rainwater out?

 

i saw someone one one of these forums (here or nasoc) that created a custom airbox that had a drain in it for rain water, i've never heard of a kit tho.
