question about types of intakes

CAI tends to pull in more cooler air, since it is located in the front bumper. The short ram is easier to install, but it gets more heat from the engine, since the filter is usally located behind the headlight. Even if you have a heat sheild, it would still be better to get a CAI. But it is also all on preference. The CAI tends to bring you better Hp than a short ram.

hmm...now i'm a little confused...does the cold air intake suck in the cold air from the same place that the stock intake sucks it in from. i know the stock intake is right under the hood scoop, but there's a pipe that goes sucks in the air from right behind the headlights. i remember, because it makes it hard to take out the lightbulbs
