Question about 2.2 intake
I have been looking for a intake for my 99 2.2, I was wondering if the 2.5 intake would fit onto a 2.2. I couldnt find enough info on it over the net, so if any of you know anything about this, please help me out. Thank You

The major difference is in the MAF/MAP sensor. Depending on your model year (and engine disp.), an intake will require different adapters. As far as I know, 2.2 intakes (with maf sensors) are not the same as the 2.5, which does not have a sensor adapter. If you get a generic intake 'made' for the 2.5, you could get an MAF adapter and you could probably make it work (with some cutting, possibly). There are intakes made specifically for the 2.5 and 2.2, those are not interchangable for the most part (to my knowledge).
PS, try the "Search" option prior to posting such questions. You could easily find pics of intakes for 2.2 and 2.5's- this would definitely answer your question.
