Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Q about that coolant additive

I remember there was a recall to add some coolant additive to prevent leak or something. Is that the same thing I see in Kragen, Autozone, etc? If yes, what is the most prefered brand?

it's basically subaru's stop leak additive for a radiator. the problem with any stop leak application, is that it will eventually clog up the radiator and prabably not stop any head gasket leaks. I tried normal stop leak and it clogged up my radiator and my head gaskets are still leaking. But if you want to go that route, i've heard that liquid glass is a good brand, but you could prabably only find it at wallgreens. I would suggest not using it at all though.

thanks for that piece of info MprezaOnGolds! I don't think I would buy any automotive stuff from "Wallgreens" . How much is that additive from Subaru?
