New belt time-
You will need new ones if you bought underdrive pulleys. Any Suby dealership near you should have the belts you need (if they are mod friendly) just ask for belt(s) for the WRX gfb pulley set.
Did you just get two pulleys or three? I could only get the two which was the "WRX" set for my '93 L because the power steering mount was a bit different.

Ya my little 1.8 had a lot more grunt at the bottom end and seemed to get through the revs a bit quicker. The biggest thing I noticed was how much easier it was to start from a stand still- not nearly as much reving required to start, so driveability is much greater overall.
