heat shield rattle

Could anybody tell me where the heat shields are on a 99 RS (I belive there are two) as I think one of them is loose, and is causing a rattling noise when I shift or turn in low gears. Any input would be appreciated...

I would check the heat shield covering the exhaust pipe before the cat converter just behind the flange. I have 2 legacys and they both rattle there. My fix was to use a 1" by 1/2" peice if sheet steel to weld the shield to the flange. A mini grinder will remove the weld in seconds if required. This solution has lasted for 17 months on my 98 and 5 months on our 99.
