has anyone ever put thie ProECM.com PowerChip PC3 chip on there 2002/03 style RS?

how does this chip install, it says quick and easy, but i want to know if its something i can take out quick so it doesnt mess up my warrenty, or if its even worth the trouble in the first place. thanks

well i just put the scooby racing chip which is the same thing and if you can soldier and follow a wiring diagram it is not hard

i had my brother do it for me because i dont trust my soldiering inside a car interior but it took maybe 20-30mins after i got to the ecu and that does not take long either

the thing has you cut wiring to the ecu and if you tell the dealer about the chip and you still have a valid warrenty then rally the car because they might even cover two maybe three trannys but honestly i think it will and i have a 95 L so i didnt have to worry about this

i did find that putting this chip in seemed to give more power at WOT and that i think is the reason way they all say mpg is reduced depending on driving style
