i put the other chip in but still the same thing i think

on my 1.8 when i put my feet to the floor it has more power than it did before, revs better, power was raised alittle through out the rpm range

fuel has not changed but the week before i put a flywheel, new clutch and mounts(revs matching is so fun now)

it did not run rough when i put it in but i have heard other plp say this so it might be common on other years and different ecus

i did notice my temp go up like you described

yes try a ecu reset it might help but the temp will still be there and the roughness does smooth out

???EJ20 in a 2001 impreza???

What water isn't a coolant The coolant in there is 50:50 blend of water and anti-freeze (ethylene glycol)

Good info here:

I got a jug of the premixed (50:50 already) stuff in the garage just for topping off every once in a while.

When I had one in my RS I ran premium. As far as the MPG's mine went down at first mostly because of the way I was driving the car though testing the new chip

WOW that much of a difference in fuel
i dont think i even noticed a difference but then again i have a 1.8 NA and i started with 93 but you where running 91 why wouldnt you run 98 to help save engine especialy with as hot as the air your car ingests i mean doesnt it get 120F degrees and more down there
