Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Perrin Crank Pulley?

Has anyone installed a Perrin Crank Pulley or one similar?

Was there a noticable difference?

Did you use a torque wrench to install?

Someone offered me one for $100 shipped and I was wondering.

Hey. I have a Perrin Lightweight Pulley in my L. I noticed the difference. Everything was more responsive in my opinion. Like the power came quicker and cleaner than before. I didn't install it myself, but had my mechanic do it because I had an AT. I did help someone do it though. HSPN has a video on how to install it. Just follow that and refer to the directions that come with the pulley and you'll be in good shape. Yeah... you'll need a torque wrench to install it. Also a breaker bar.

Not sure. I bought mine used from someone for $60. Just don't get an underdriven pulley. Doing that is... not so great.

i used a torque tho if you got any feeling for you don't need to worry,

you do need one made for your vehicle, i to recommend avoiding the underdriven for a daily driver, when you go underdriven you don't spin the alternator and AC as fast as it needs to be. Tho if these aren't conserns for you, and you want an underdriven then make sure you get a kit with the proper belts for the most satisfaction
