Disabling Daytime Running Lights for 07 2.5

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew how to disable the DRL for the 07 2.5i. All I could find in the forums were WRX solutions and not for the 2.5i.

My friends were trying to help me figure it out and we broke the clips that held my criuse control connector So any help would be appreciated!

I was hoping for more luck in this section of the forums because I didn't get much luck in the ' Lighting/Exterior' section.

Thanks for the help guys!

there are several ways to do it. I have an 06 OBS.

1. remove the 2-pin plug to the voltage dropping resistor. This is mounted on the passenger side front strut tower area. It looks like a small silver and white metallic box ~4"Lx2"Wx 1"D.

I didn't do this option because I don't like to have live wires hanging loose in the engine compartment.

2. Locate the DRL module behind the passenger kick panel (area to the right of the glovebox). The DRL module is a black box about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Pull the 10-pin connector. Note: The fuel pump relay is in this area too, so make sure you are pulling the correct connector.

The scoobymods page shows some pictures, but the location of the DRL is slightly different than shown in the picture.

Great thanks.

I'll try it this weekend.
