i dont know if this is the right place to ask this question but im trying to sell my 00 impreza axle back and someone with a 02-03 impreza wants to buy it and we both dont know if it will fit the 02-03 model. will it be a direct fit or any modification will be needed to do in order for it to fit?

Exhaust for 2011 Impreza Outback Sport - 5 door
Looking to increase power & get nice sound out of my 2011 Impreza Outback Sport - 5 door. Looks just like a WRX minus the turbo. Finding it difficult to find and exhaust system for a non-turbo. Anyone out there have the same car that they have changed the exhaust on? Do I have to go aftermarket? Would really love an SPT, but dealer seems to be clueless on whether or not WRX or STI will fit on a non-turbo. ??

The WRX exhaust will bolt right up the the non-turbo imprezas as long as it is a CatBack and not a TurboBack exhaust. The WRX SPT exhaust should be fine. There are also many many other aftermarket exhaust that in my opinion sound nicer for cheaper. I currently have an Invidia N1 street CB that I bought off a member on here for $300 and it was on his WRX. It bolted up fine to my 2.5i. Good luck with your search.

I have a Tsudo N1 3" Catback on my 08 hatch. Bought it new for $330 online It is very loud, yet not the annoying hon-DUH fart can sound. Does drone a bit in the cabin, (very unfriendly for the woman, and it gets pointed out alot). The only set back I have on the exhaust is it rubs against the heat shield and the body (mid driveshaft) so now, I ordered the exhaust header wrap to help with the heat and taking a bit of the vibration out. It also gets very close at the tip to the bumper.
Went to the exhaust shop to try and get another hanger welded on and/or get it fixed, was unable to do anything..
Installed it myself. Was told it should have fit perfectly, maybe I did something wrong..

current setup consists of stock 04 RS Exhaust that was cut before the axle back right after the hanger so it would hit that exhaust shield nice muahaha, its so loud. for stock that is.
Plans are to get a full Tsudo headerback exhaust, probably getting the headers within a month or two and leaving the stock catback (whats left of it) on until i can get the tsudo catback. catless straight piped ftw.

I have an 03 Impreza RS sedan. Im running borla rep uel header, stock cats, custom made 3" midpipe and axle back. Havent switched out the donut yet so it has its leaks, but well worth the $200 for the entire system plus the 80 bucks to have a shop weld, cut, flange, and install. Im running an unknown custom made muffler. looks like stock wrx muffler but a tad bigger. not a fan of baby eaters.

Exhaust
I have a 2007 impreza 2.5i and want to put an exhaust on it. What size would be good without losing power? But a nice time to it as well. Also might put a turbo on it

Nameless Axle-back, muffler delete
I have an 09 2.5i and just installed the Nameless axle-back muffler delete, and it is awesome. It's pretty loud for an otherwise stock 2.5i, so I'm careful around the police, but it's not unbearable. I think I paid around $300 with gaskets and polyurethane bushings. An awesome upgrade and I can definitely feel a difference. Shifting feels smoother, and it takes off a lot easier. I got the 4" slash cut tips which I HIGHLY recommend. It definitely gives it a nice look.
Only piece of advice is to angle the bushings in the very back a little before tightening all the bolts down. It pulls the axle-back up just a little bit, otherwise, it hangs down a little too low in my opinion.
