Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Need help to identify coolant leak!

Need help to identify coolant leak!

Ok, so i need to take care of a coolant leak. Only problem is that I am having a hard time locating the leak.. However I took some pics of suspected areas.
I have pics and need your help of inputs and suggestions..

Area 1, I believe this is the heal gasket may its coming from the smudged area??

Area 2, I think there is leakage coming from this hardline, however I'm am not sure if its a coolant line. This area is front left wheel boot thing (forget what it was called)
