EDIT: Hate to say it but even with the part number, 17199, I can't find the internal diameter and I even wrote to Borla about it and haven't heard back yet.

 

what do you need the internal diameter for?

 

Well, I want to know if it's going to be the same size as the rest of my exhaust, bigger, or smaller. Just curious that's all

I have a 04' wrx and I went catback with 2 1/2 inch pipe with a magnaflow. I would go to your local shop and tell them that you want something that sounds more deep. Just tell them that you dont want to have a lawn mower! Mine cost me about $300. I don't feel any power difference, but I love the sound.

 

Oh don't get me wrong, it sounds great, and does have a deep tone. I love it. I just thought it was going to be a bit louder, but I am happy with it just the way it is.

 

a header will make it louder and a deeper more boxer sound if you go with borla.probably just what your lookin for.

 

Yep. It's gonna be a borla cause I couldn't afford anything else With a borla I'd be looking at about $300 right?

 

Well, there's another dealer, forget his name, that will give it to me for $270 shipped. So I'll probably do that.
