Do away with the sensor? Don't do that. It's there for a reason. Doesn't your aftermarket intake have a provision to accept the sensor?

Yea, your intake should have all the needed hose nipples/mating positions to match up to the stock parts. If it there is a part on the intake that is obviously not there and IS there on your stock setup, you probably have the wrong intake. I beleive your car is a OBDII vers. where the '95 and older are OBDI and have a very different sensor than that of the later model Subies. Make sure your intake is for the later model versions....good luck.
