I got the perrin short ram air intake a little while ago and sense then it has been great but every now and then when I rev match I hear a pop sound almost like a back fire. I don't have an exhaust on the car yet so I cant hear a back fire. I was jest wounding if any one has had this happen before???

im not entirely sure but it may just be that when you rev, your ram air intake sucks in a lower amount of air initialy than stock airbox would , so for a small instant it is a tad rich untill the flow picks up in your intake or the ECU can compensate, causing a small backfire due to the fuel rich mixture in your exhaust? i dont know for sure if im even anywhere near correct :P

but it makes sense to me sort of
