I know you don't want to hear it, but remove the MBC.

The best way to get an air/fuel controller is to just remap the ECU (ECUtek or Cobb Accessport) to run more boost. The remapped ECU will run higher boost, and should have the correct A/F ratio at all times. And, if you use the ECU to run more boost, you can get rid of that MBC.

i can remap my stock ecu right ? how much does it usually cost ? im just learning about this reflashing thing .......

so the remapped ecu makes the turbo produce more boost? so i dont need the mbc..........!

thanks

by the way i live in hawaii and no one does reflashes down here i have to send it somewhere in cali ...

An ECUtek reflash will run ~$650 for 02/03 WRXs and ~$750 for 04+ WRXs and STis. If you don't have a local tuner, I'd look at Cobbs AccessPort software. I think its a little cheaper, and you won't have to ship your ECU to cali.

Vishnu stuff is top of the line (and priced accordingly). Their products are generally excellent. Vishnu's off the shelf remaps may be a little less versatile than Cobb's in terms of what mods can be accomodated, but if you take their advice on how to use their products, you will probably have a fast car.
