Where I am at there isn't really any emission testing and if there is I have never seen it though. What would I be looking at in terms of a fine if i get busted for running catless and it would probably be because of the noise i assume...

 

finally decided to do a test pipe tomorrow and I will see how loud it is...if too loud i guess there will be a resonator in place...can't wait

 

That's the route I took and it was too loud. Headerback.. straightpiped.. waay too loud. I installed an 18" resonator but I had to section off my catback to get it to fit since the test pipe wouldn't allow a resonator, and couldn't get it in the area where it's on an angle. The car is tolerably loud now, pretty loud when you step on it.
