Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Blue smoke is oil. Perhaps you have a bad ring and its fouling the plugs. Or your plugs could just be very worn, i'd replace the plugs and take a look for carbon build up.

Misfires? Replace your ignition wires, and test your coils.

Either you're not getting spark or your injector(s) failed open. Engine faults are fuel, air, spark, or gasket related. You have fuel, and head gasket failures would allow oil and/or coolant in the chamber but it would fire (and you'd be losing oil or coolant). Not a lot of ways to screw up air flow besides vacuum leaks, but then it should still run, although badly. So, somethings not working. I'm fairly certain it's weak spark or way too much fuel. What's your spark plug gap?

Maybe you can tell me what size engine and what car and year it is? Also have you scanned the computer for freeze codes?
