HELP! Installing and removing starter.

This is my first time ever having to remove and install my own starter. I'm thinking of taking the car to a shop, but I want to see how hard it is to remove and install the starter all on my own. Has anyone out there ever installed their own starter? Some help would be muchly appreciated. Thanks.
