Heat shield!!!
Hi,
This is the first time I made something for my car! It is a heat shield for the air intake. After I installed the heat shield, I drove the car for an approximately 1.5hrs test drive. When I finished the test drive, then I opened the hood and touched the heat shield and the filter! The result was that I felt the heat shield was noticeably warmer than the filter. So I guess it does work.
Can anyone tell me what is the pros/cons for a CAI??? I heard it will cause the car to sacrifice some low-end torque, is it???
