Hi, I'm new into moding cars. I was wondering if you guys can help me with getting a proper answer for this following question. I think quite a few people is in the dark about this so i think clearing it up would help.

I was wondering what is the use of each individual gauges that people add to their cars?
1. Tachometer
2. oil pressure
3. oil temp
4. fuel pressure
5. water temp
6. exhause gas temp

I'm think of added some (2-3) gauges on my n/a 2.5rs. Which ones of these gauges would be most useful for me to add to my car?

I have:
Oil pressure, 0-100 psi (2 1/16)" Autometer phantom
Fuel pressure 0-100 psi (2 1/16)" Autometer phantom
A/F 2 (1/16)" Autometer phantom

I will be getting EGT soon, I have the A/F from my old Nitrous set up.

I need all of these, I wpuld say the tachometer is not very useful at all really. I personally dont think it is nesessary. autometer phanton gauges are so nice looking, black exterior with white faces to match the stock cluster.

I would say to get EGT, oil and fuel pressure. Good luck! and youy might want a professional garage install the senders for the fuel and oil. I put in a 3rs O2 sensor (wideband) before the cat for the A/F gauge. Hope I helped a bit!
