A full MRT header-back was dynoed for a 15hp gain on a stock car. Thats including the crappy muffler it comes with (skip the muffler, just get the rest, or just get the header/cat and have a custom midpipe/muffler put on it).
Another club member had a MRT header/cat/mipipe with a stromung muffler and a cobb intake and ran a 15.1 quarter mile... Thats not too shaby for not having much in the way of anything else done to the car. His car also dynoed for quite a bit of gains with that setup compaired to stock HP numbers... Cant do much better without internal mods imo.

Sorry AWD-OWNZU, the STI muffler had some rust developing around the outlet, although; I painted it with rust inhibiter and figured it had maybe a year of life left. I felt that I could not sell it in good consious, so I gave it away to a local subieguy. If your really interested in this type of STI muffler, contact
www.rallispec.com, they have some at a reasonable price. I have no photos of the JIC Bullet Titanium Catback, you can view it on www.flat4engineering.com. The JIC is expensive, but the workmanship is intense. A good bull-**** story, after installing the JIC, I did not install the silencer and was motoring locally. I was stopped at a red light by two kids in a modded Honda, who were following for about two miles. The passenger rolled down their 20% tinted window and asked whether I had a twin turbo. I answered I did'nt, only cam and heads, no turbo. They said it really sounds like you do. I smiled, closed my window and waited for the signal light to turn green. When it did, the Honda would not move off, I did so, they followed for awhile but would not approach. Guess they did not believe me.

Good question, I've been desperately trying to identify all the components of a N/A exhaust system for my wife's Outback.
I'm looking at:
Borla headers -->
Dynomax hi-flo cat -->
Custom-welded 2-1/4" piping -->
Dynomax Bullet resonator (midstream) -->
Straight-thru Bullet Performance 5x9x16" muffler -->
3" Borla resonated tip
That about right for a street setup? Am I missing some kind of pre-cat piping or something?
