Headers...
Well i'm finally gettin around to doing some more serious mods to my 02 RS. I just got my CAI from COBB and their exhaust as well. Good gains and sound mean but now i really wanna get headers. I kno COBB is coming out with their equal length ones but i have no idea when and i kinda wanna do this soon. I always hear good things about the BORLA headers but i was just crious if they we'll give me as much performance and power gains as the COBB headers would. Basicly my question is, would it be worth it to wait for the COBB headers considering everything else is COBB?? I want the most gains possible obviously but don't wanna just wait around forever for something that'll give me 1 extra hp. Thnx for the help....
O any links sellin Borla headers would be appreciated.

A. Headers offer substantial power gains. Expect at least .3 to .5 off your 1/4 with any system.
B. Check out the reviews section, There are reviews for both the Borla Header, as well as the already available Equal-length unit from tech works engineering.
All in all if money is of no object an equal length setup is the way to go. If time is no object it is probably better to wait since COBB tests all its parts together. If both time and money are important you won't be displeased with the Borlas they offer an impressive warranty and substantial power. The tech works unit is your soultion to an equal length setup without the wait for cobb.

go check these guys out. they have two varieties of = length headers. one kit i was looking at was a FULL system for about $700- =length headers (1.625" primary tubes with nice collectors @ 2.5" the rest of the way back) then you get a high flow cat with o2 sensor mounts, stainless mid-pipe and your choice of muffler all with stock mounting positions- cant beat a full kit like that for under $700 seeing as how the Cobb and Borla (Borla headers are NOT equal length) cat systems are upwards of $500 for that alone. you may not want to ditch you cobb system although I would to have a matching kit but they say their systems are designed to work with stock systems AND aftermarket alike so browse around and give them a call to see what you can get.
PS- they also have even biger "high output" =length headers for the 2.5 (1.75" tubes to a 2.5" collector)

Hi guys,
1) If the my eventual upgrade path included a Ludespeed Stage II turbo kit, which header should I buy now for my n/a 98 OBS 2.2? Does it even matter?
2) Anybody have any experience passing emissions with a header? I live in no-testing area now, but I'm planning to move soon and don't want to have emissions probs.
Thanks!

Two weeks ago i was talking with noah and they have a prototype made and testing it now so maybe in a month or two it will be for sale
he said it made more torque than hks(maybe greedy) prototype and more top end than the borla
it will include high flow cat and will not bolt in stock location
he said 900 in SS but might vary in price

$900 you say...pretty pricy but i like that i get the cat too. Sounds pretty good so if it is only a matter of a couple months i'll probably tough it out and wait. But any idea on how it'll bolt on or what kinda mods will need to be done to make it fit. Sounds like it could be a pain in ***...
Thanks

it bolts up to the mid pipe and gets rid of the two connetions at the cat pipe
i mean 6 bolts on the block and 2 bolts at the mid pipe like the Brullen setup
the stock location for the header not a location that requires modifying the cat-back section
the only reason i mentioned this was for plp that are going bolt on turbo
