go for it, expect some awful gas mileage when your o2 sensor freaks out and gives the engine 3x as much gas as needed :rotfl:

oh yah the whole federal offense thing. but you do gain 5hp!!!

the gas mileage doesnt go down that far. i gained about 3 miles per gallon. just diconnect your battery for bout 15 min, the computer should adjust. becarfull because the frount cat it kind of a pain. dont u have emissions in ca. i know i dont in washington

 

the mileage will go up at first because of the increased airflow, then the o2 sensor will realize the cat deficiency...

ive had mine gutted for 8 months now and the only con is my check engine light comes.

 

Go buy a 3" cat for $20 and have some one weld it in. That way its functional, leagle and won't restrict flow. Your going to have one hell of a time getting that off.

Is 3 inch cat better that a stright pipe I dont need emissions down here in daytona. should i get header back exhuast like the borla system? does it throw the map sensor or ecu off with full borla>??? btw 2.2 L ej22 in mine.
