hey guy's
i don't want to sound like a lost puppy but i have a couple of questions 1) how do i get maximum power increases on a car that has a cold air-brola header-stromung cat? whats next.
2)are there ECU's upgrades for gc-8 2.5rs and if so will it help?
All I want is a faster non turbo car and if it is not possible to make it faster without playing with internal parts I would really like some options. Also i have some cash i wanna blow on the car {like today} what do you guys suggest (250$-300$)

2. There are chips. but IMO they help onl to keep the mods you have running well, on their own there is no 1.8t style 30hp gain.
i sugest you save an extra 200 and then con someone into a 400 dollar deposit and get cobb cams... trust me with all your mods you will feel like someone took the bottleneck out of your engine flow.

Do you have a Stromung cat-back or a high-flow cat? Pulleys would be the next step if I were you. I'm not a big fan of chips. Other than those, there is engine management stuff. What year is your car?

UNFORTUNATLY MY CAR IS UNDER WARRANTY SO THE CAM'S AS SWEET AS THEY SOUND ARE A NO NO! I WAS THINKING ABOUT PULLYS BUT I DON'T THINK IT WILL GIVE ME THE FEEL I WANT (HONDA KILLER). I MAY SELL MY IMPREZ AND GO ON TO FASTER AND MORE STUPID THING'S (2 WHEELS). BTW IT'S A 2000 2.5RS I WILL TRY TO GET A PICTURE UP!?

Please don't post in all caps. Also, underdrive pulleys can also void parts of your warranty. If you are worried about that, stick to a cat-back exhaust, wheels, and minor suspension mods.

My car is already very modified i just never sent a pic, i've got lots more than a CAI ,cat back and header. thats why i posted, i'm looking for more than i already have done. i have killer ground control springs and coil's 17" 5 zigen imperio s-08, front back and side skirts, brake controler, fuel preseriser, cobb short shift.So i still am looking for options/ I may have found the solution i might just buy a bike

Im live in Montreal too, what color is your RS? Anyway, go to www.lachutesubaru.com and look there. Also give them a call, they are amazing. The did my motor build on my car, maybe we could meet and i can show you some options for your car (I have a few goodies too). By the way, if you go to the subaru auto centre on st catherine, dont worry too much, they are very good about modded cars, just be nice to them and they are nice to you. They have fixed several things on my car that broke directly form my mods. Anyway, let me know man.

Julian and Ben are super cool man, they told me staight out that if the mod was installed there and something f***** up they would repair/replace with no warranty problems.I did all the important mod's there (minus the exaust -GMS-) my car is white, i've got a wierd little grill that everybody asks me about, blue tints

Fully built N/A motor (11:1 compression) and it revvs to 8,000 rpm. I live on Guy and Lincoln, it just below sherbrooke. My car is Black with black tints, US bumper, version 6 lip, rear spats 22B wing, version 6 grill and Gold rims (lowered on KYB AGX/ ground control springs). We should meet up, are you on montreal racing? Maybe we can meet at the julep and go for a ride. Anyway, you can PM me when you can meet up. Im free most of the time, and Im going to napierville for a few passes, im trying to get into the 13's.
