Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Question exhaust

Will a WRX Exhaust fit on a RS? I want to purchase a scoobysport exhaust, but they said they make them for WRX's. Will the hangers still work? or how much possibly could it be to make this exhaust fit? I am looking at a diagram of the wrx exhaust and after the downpipe is the midpipe, rear exhaust pipe, then the muffler. Chat at unique motorsports told me that all i need to get is the downpipe custom made to go from the turbo to the cat back. Does that just skip out the midpipe in the scoobysports system? If someone could let me know any info on this i'd appreciate it greatly

The exhaust will fit, but it will require rotating the flange that bolts to the midpipe, and modifying one hanger (which isn't totally necessary, but helpful). Go ahead and buy the muffler, and take it to that shop. They will see the differences and be able to make the changes. Shouldn't take them more than an hour.

Edit: It's possible that you could need a new midpipe. They will either be able to make you a new one or shorten the stock one to fit. It's jsut a matter of a cut and a weld, but only if the ScoobySport doesn't have the flange in the stock location.
