Alright well tonight I went for a drive and I noticed my check engine light is now on and my cruise control light is flashing. I have a 2006 2.5i with rallitek headers/ espiler cat back and mid pipe with a crap catalytic converter that i had to have installed and my 02 sensor's rewired before and after the new cat. I also have a injen CAI. I have had the full exhaust on for about 2 months now and no problems. Just wondering if anyone has a few ideas on what i should check out. It's been raining all night so i haven't had a chance to look under my car and see if the re-routed 02 sensors got sliced or anything, but i will in the morning. the car has slightly over 20,000 miles.

ok well this thread might have been useless. I pulled out my owners manual and it said to check the gas cap. I read on other forums about the same thing but they just said to tighten it which i did and it did nothing. In the manual it says to take it off and put it back on again and i did that, started the car and the problem is fixed. So if you have tried the tightening of the gas cap option, make sure you take it off first and not just tighten it.

 

I ran into the same problem..Gas cap want secured tightly and when i did all that, my CEL went away after like 300+ miles..So if anyone runs into this type of problem, you know what to do know with these feedbacks...

 

To hell with subaru gas caps!!! I was about 200 miles from the nearest town when the check engine came on, I started freaking out, turns out its the damn gas cap!!!
