Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Engine Difference?
I was wondering what the difference is between the 2.5 engine MY98 and MY99 2.5rs? I am wondering because the cams for sale on Xcceleration.com say they are only for 99+.

Not really. In factory state of tune the power bands are remarkably similar.

Ya, not really... At least when compairing the USDM EJ25's. When you start talking about other subie engines though, most of the better ones are DOHC.
