Got a letter in the mail the other day from my dealership stating, because of the high demand for my car they would be interested in re-purchasing it regardless if I want to buy a new one or not. Is this a come-on or is there really a high demand for these cars since the 08s are not selling?

Ah... they don't want your car, they want to sell you a new one! NO different then the 'guaranteed trade in value' letters. It's to generate more sales, plain and simple!

It does say regarless if you want to buy a new one. However, they are probably getting desperate to get rid of the 08s.
