Coolant loss during defrost?
Had to use the front windshield defrost for the first time this year when I was going to go fill up wiper fluid I noticed my coolant level had dropped in the overflow bottle. Not much, maybe about 1/2" (note: I check all my fluids once a week so I know it has maintained its level until today) Less than two months ago I had the cooling system overhauled....new rad, hoses, water pump, rad cap (2 of them), belts and what not. There are no visual leaks and there is no coolant in the oil. Question is, where else should I be checking? Bad compressor maybe? It would be nice to get this taken care of before any problems arise due to constant use.
