Cold weather idle
When I start my car up at below 40 degree weather, before it warms up, my idle is weird. It'll hover around 2000rpm and some times rev from 1000-2000 and back down. Its a 2002 OBS. I'm probably still under warranty. I just wanted to know if this is something normal, something abnormal but nothing to worry about, or something that should or could be fixed. I have a Cobb CAI.
I experience the same thing, I think it's your engine adjusting to the cold temperature...I wouldn't worry about it too much, I have the Gravel Sports intake on my 01 RS

My 92' Legacy does the opposite, i have a pod filter installed, and in hot weather when the radiator fans turn on, the idle moves around 600rpm-1000rpm, but thats just because my pod is sucking in all that air from the fans, which i dont think is very good.
