Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Can I pass emissions with Borla cat-back (only mod) on 2.5 RS ??

Question Can I pass emissions with Borla cat-back (only mod) on 2.5 RS ??
I need to take my car to get smogged sometime soon and was wondering if I could pass with just the intake silencer removed and a Borla cat-back exhaust. I'm like 99.9% sure this would pass because it's not messing with the cats or anything but just wanted to make sure before I bolt up the exhaust.

Yes, all catbacks are smog legal.They can complain about the intake silencer though. Just put it back on if you have it.

CARB has specified that anything you do after the last catalytic converter or Oxygen sensor is acceptable. You just have to meet noise standards.
